Rollin' Bowl - San Marcos

I think they really need to include more noodles in the pho! I’m still feeling frustrated about this, as they seem to pack the box with onions instead. I can’t fill up on onions alone! As a light eater, it's surprising for me to be complaining about the noodle portion. After all, they’re just rice noodles! They shouldn’t be too costly to add more.

The grilled pork vermicelli bowl was absolutely delicious, as were the beef and shrimp vermicelli bowl and the shrimp spring rolls.

The dishes could benefit from a bit of spice or a touch of umami flavor, and the restaurant could also use some updates to enhance safety.

People were nice but honestly the worst pad Thai I have ever had in my life. It was pink and no flavor. The chicken in the pad Thai was cooked but had a pink tint to it. Had to drown the dish in soy sauce and lime to even have a few bites.

First time having food at Rolling Bowl and it will be my last. I ordered the Bahn Mi sandwich, Pad Thai and Large VN rolls($7.99) I put the price of the rolls in here because when I got it home from pick up, it was just two eggs rolls cut up to make 6 “rolls.” The Pad Thai has NO flavor whatsoever, it tastes as though they ran out of seasonings and just threw something together. It almost has a hint of ketchup. The Bahn Mi sandwich was also disappointing. For the Rolling Bowl to have food from every Asian cuisine, you would THINK the flavor and food would be much better. NEVER again.
