Sabroso Restaurant Bar - El Prado

Sabroso is a fantastic restaurant that offers a relaxed atmosphere paired with delightful cocktails. The ambiance features several intimate dining spaces, a charming piano bar, and a stunning outdoor terrace, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with family and friends. The menu is excellent and thoughtfully curated. I chose the daily special: salmon served on a bed of vegetables and pilaf, which was perhaps the best fish dish I’ve ever tasted. My friend, a long-time resident of Taos, introduced me to this gem, and I’m certain I will return. On this special Friday evening, the live guitar music and singing in three languages provided by Charlie B. added a unique touch of international romance. His incredible talent truly enhanced the dining experience, making it both peaceful and immensely satisfying.

The margaritas here are definitely the best in town! The food is absolutely delicious, the staff are friendly, the music is great, and the atmosphere is so cozy. The pig bell dish is exceptional, and the main rib is incredibly flavorful. The BBQ is out of this world! You've got to try the Southwest Shrimp and Grits, Steak Frites, and Key Lime Cheesecake! Seriously, you won't regret it!

The food was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. The atmosphere was really enjoyable. I can honestly say it's the best fish and chips I've ever tasted. The truffles were also wonderfully delicious.

This restaurant is very consistent, I have come here for a few years, and every time I was satisfied with the food and service. In summer, the best to sit outside is my favorite, but the interior is very charming. This time I order what I thought it would be a little dish, but I was wrong. the fish and chips were considerable, and let me tell you it was SABROSO safe in my top 5 fish and chips I ever had (I traveled a lot and fish and chips it always in my list). You should try. Oh and by the way, I will recommend making a reservation before time, they are busy most of the time.

Amazing food and environment. If you can sit in the bar, do yourself a favor and sit fireside in the 250 year old building which exudes New Mexico history. The food and the service are world class in this picturesque restaurant.
